On Target

It is May 2023, and I have officially retired from 30 years as the appraiser (and some-time forester) at Farm Credit East in Greenwich, NY. I'm looking forward to working in the same way - with care, methodically working with people who need assistance in one form or another - but focused on my customers, not on the employer. I still like the challenges of new situations, which is pretty much what one can expect in appraisal and forestry. Every property is unique, every situation is different. And yet, there are commonalities that a life of experience teaches, that can be applied from one situation to another.

Melissa and I thank everyone for their well-wishes, and we look forward to plunging headlong into what should be an exciting new life for us!
